“Pizza” Stuffed Bell Peppers

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 bell peppers, halved and seeds removed

  • 1 cup cooked ground turkey (or beef)

  • ½ cup marinara sauce

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¼ cup pepperoni slices (or turkey pepperoni)

  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

STEPS:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Place halved bell peppers in a baking dish.

  2. In a bowl, mix cooked ground turkey with marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

  3. Spoon the mixture evenly into each pepper half.

  4. Top with mozzarella and pepperoni.

  5. Bake for 18–22 minutes, until peppers are tender and cheese is melted.
